While summer has come to an end in some parts of the world, in Dar we are still experiencing our African winter. This is the coolest time of the year with lows of 25C and highs of 29C.
This is the time, when schools close the longest and families take off for holidays at different destinations. For some we stay in the city and put a plan in place of what we are going to. I created my ‘summer to do list’ with good intentions to make the most of it. Now that summer/winter is over I’d love to say that I did most of the things on the list, but the truth is No!
I am great believer in taking time out to enjoy; a day at the beach, a cup of coffee at my favourite café or a just an evening with family at home. All these are good for the mind and soul.
Here are some of the things on my ‘summer to do list’, which might give you some inspiration to create your own, next year.
